Over the years my wife and I have stayed at numerous motels and condos and have walked the beaches of Hawaii, the British and U.S. Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, Sanibel & Captiva, Ft. Myers, Gulf Shores, and others. But in 2003, we found our favorite vacation spot...the beach at Indian Shores, Florida...which is located on one of the barrier islands just west of Tampa.

Talk about GREAT weather and GREAT accomodations...THIS is the place!! Everything is easy to find, and many fine eating establishments are nearby.

Although Best Beach Rentals & Sales rents condos, villas, and houses, we have always rented a 1-bedroom condo at Chateaux Condominiums on Gulf Blvd. We have stayed in 402, 304, and 306 and recommend all three.  My slide show shows pictures of both 402 and 306, and a GREAT view of a sunset from the balcony of #306. Please note, though, that all condos in this building are Gulf-front condos approximately 250 feet from the Gulf water at high tide, so this beautiful sunset is available from all condo balconies.

This deal will get you a 2-bedroom condo for $625 per week (depending on availability)!!

This may be a gulf-front, gulf-view, or whatever she has available. Please call and ask specifically for Kathi for this discount and to check to see what is available, and to make sure the discount applies during the time you are booking...as most of the time this discount will probably apply to off-peak times, and only to condos where the owners have agreed to participate.

We also asked her what type of uniform she is talking about. Her answer was: military, police, fire, EMT, anyone in uniform. Also, this discount DOES apply to civilian employees of those agencies!!
